Child Urology
Urology Associates has two specialist paediatric urologists that provide care to boys and girls with urological issues. These can range from congenital problems with kidneys, to testicles, bedwetting and foreskin issues. We have the expertise to help and an environment in which you and your little ones can feel relaxed.
Circumcision is an operation to remove the skin covering the glans (the head of the penis). It is performed for phimosis, urine infections or cultural and religious reasons.
Undescended testicles, hernias and hydroceles are common problems in young boys. Our specialist paediatric urologists are trained to help.
Wetting the bed (also called nocturnal enuresis), and the daytime leakage of urine, are common and distressing problems for children and parents. There are often simple measures that can help.
Urine infections in children are not common. If your child suffers from them, some simple tests are recommended.
